Overview
The Decentral Park Capital Liquid Opportunity Fund invests in Liquid Cryptocurrency tokens.  Our Investment Strategy is based upon:
  • Fundamental analysis
  • Use of both Qualitative and Quantitative tools
  • Emphasis on Thematic strategies, Event-driven catalysts and changing Market Structure (see below)
  • Portfolio construction driven by a combination of Risk/Reward calculations, Probability & Scenario analysis, and rigorous Risk Management.  We aim to generate strong returns with risks uncorrelated with other asset classes 
Over the next two years, we anticipate that changing Market Structure will be a key driver of liquid cryptocurrency prices.  Until very recently, Institutional investors have only been a small part of the cryptocurrency market, but we expect that the introduction of 'Instutitonal Quality' financial markets infrastructure in 2019 has changed this dynamic.  The potentially significant new buying pressure from these Institutional investors, combined with the accelerating technological development and user growth in the space highlights the asymmetric upside potential in Liquid cryptocurrencies. 
We believe that Institutional Investors will be attracted to cryptocurrencies for three main reasons:
  1. As an investment in Technological Innovation.  The digitally native world that is unfolding requires digitally native assets, digitally native accounting (to prevent double spending), and digitally native contracts (which allow for automated machine-to-machine transfers of value).  Cryptocurrencies are the lynchpin that ties this together.
  2. As a Store of Value, or ‘Digital Gold’ with defined and fixed inflation/supply schedule in a world of low interest rates, increasing Government deficits and Global currency instability.
  3. In their young life, Digital Assets have historically had low correlation with traditional financial markets.
