What is core-satellite?

Core-satellite is a pairing approach to ESG. We believe that combining managers would be more likely to deliver comprehensive ESG performance. As a core ESG provider, QMA would seek to provide controlled ESG exposure with risk control and stable outperformance, while a more specialized ESG manager could add a deeper, longer-term ESG focus to the portfolio.
