Bios: 

Brian Weinstein is an experienced financial executive with a career spanning 17 years in fixed-income trading and asset allocation. As a Managing Director on BlackRock's fixed income team, he most recently served as head of multi-sector fixed income. In this capacity, he oversaw 40 portfolio managers managing more than $300 billion in assets across short duration, financial institutions and multi-sector fixed income portfolios. He worked extensively with pension funds, endowments, insurers and other institutional clients. Brian is an expert in understanding long-term valuation trends across the spectrum of fixed income instruments, and was a senior member of the team that established BlackRock's perspective on fixed income investing. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Pennsylvania. 

JP Marra is an expert in fixed income trading and the capital markets, having spent over 22 years leading multinational teams on a range of debt instruments. Prior to co-founding Blue Elephant, JP was head of cash rates trading at Nomura Securities in New York, which included primary dealer, repo, agency, inflation-linked and frequent borrower businesses. He led a global team of 100 as head of High Grade Rates at Banc of America, and ran the Treasury, mortgage pass-through and agency trading desks at Lehman Brothers.

Brooke Long spent over eight years of experience in the financial services industry, primarily in trading and selling Fixed Income.   Most recently Brooke served as the Executive Director of underwriting and trading short-duration U.S. Agency and Treasury debt at Nomura Securities in New York, where she jointly managed $4 billion in fixed and floating-rate assets.  Through her career she has focused on the build-out of front end trading operations, notably the development and maintenance of relationships with institutional asset managers. Prior to Nomura, she spent four years trading this sector at Banc of America Securities in New York. Brooke began her financial career in 2005 as an analyst at Goldman Sachs producing margin and collateral lending services for Prime Brokerage operations in New York, London and Hong Kong.  She holds a B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering from University of Michigan and has received Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
