Chaikin Analytics launched in by Marc Chaikin (the firm's principal equity holder, Chairman, and creator of various technical gauges the best known of which is the the Chaikin Money Flow index) in March 2011, is a suite of stock research tools and portfolio management services that help identify potentially strong and weak stocks ahead of market shifts. The multi-factor Chaikin Power Gauge Rating contains 20 factors grouped into four broadly varied categories; Financials-Value, Earnings Growth, Expert Opinions, Technicals. It’s the basis doe three NASDAQ Chaikin indexes, two of which trade as ETFs: IndexIQ ETF Trust - IQ Chaikin US Large Cap ETF (CLRG), and IndexIQ ETF Trust - IQ Chaikin US Small Cap ETF (CSML). Power Gauge was adapted and extended to ETFs, as a predictive rating, in late 2018, and in 2020 the firm launched Portfolio Wise, which enables Advisors to select and manage ETF portfolios in client acconts.
Marc Gerstein, joined Chaikin Analytics in August 2018 and serves as Director of Research.
